"Best Friends" you promised me
"Together to the end"
You always filled me up with glee
You were my one best friend
You ended it so abruptly
So it was hard for me to cope
Causing me to fumble in the dark
With little sign of hope
Sadness consumed me
And tears constantly filled my eyes
And then I started to wonder
If what you told me were all lies
Then facing the world without you
Was one of my biggest fears
But if I can make it through these months
Those months will turn to years
The sadness slowly vanished
But anger flooded through my veins
As I sat and tried to figure out
How you could think of leaving me in pain
I was mad at you for leaving
For all those wasted years
Once you used to give me comfort
Now all you cause are tears
It seems like so long since we were friends
But the memories are still clear
And I will hold on to them as long as I can
For they're the last of what I held dear.

3. You don't have to draw if you don't want to. It can be photographs, poetry, stories, crafts or whatever you want, as long as it's made by you. If you do photomanipulations using art made by others you need to have permission and give proper credit of course.

The person this was written about was my best friend from kindergarten to 7 grade. In the beginning of 7th grade i was talking to her over aim. She told me that she didnt want to be my friend anymore because i embarass her. She was "popular" while i was just a normal girl at school. It devastated me and i write all the time, and this is just what came out. We still arent friends although i still see her in the halls at school.
I wrote this at the beginning 7th grade and have just finished 9th.
